Max Payne 3 has been spotted on the Arabic Xbox store, which suggests the game is being added to Xbox Backwards Compatibility program very soon.

Yesterday, we reported that a bunch of new games have been added to the old Xbox marketplace, which usually suggests that such games are coming via Xbox Backwards Compatibility program to Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Some of the games that were included in the list are Rockstar's Max Payne 1 & 2. And while these are some of our favourite games and we're happy to see them coming back, we were sad that the third game in the series was not included in the list.

However, it seems that Max Payne 3 will be coming via Backwards Compatibility despite not being on the list. Today, Xbox players have spotted that Max Payne 3 has appeared on Xbox Marketplace in Saudi Arabia.

Of course, this is far from a confirmation that Max Payne 3 is indeed being added to the Backwards Compatible program on Xbox but it's certainly a hint that such thing could happen very soon.

We expect to hear more about the next batch of Xbox Backwards Compatible games on Monday, November 15, 2021, when Xbox are hosting a 20th-anniversary event, which is a perfect place to talk about old games coming to new consoles.

May Payne 3 was released way back in 2012. It's the last game in the popular third-person shooter series.
