BioWare's Fernando Melo tweeted that multiplayer and singleplayer in the upcoming game will be connected
Missions will act as a link between singleplayer and multiplayer and playing either mode will result in rewards, so the time spent away from the story mode will not be for nothing. Fernando Melo briefly explained in his tweet:
Strike Teams will also be available from both single and multiplayer:
Mass Effect's trend of releasing the extra multiplayer maps for free will continue in Andromeda. In fact, all players will have access to the new maps, characters and other important content as they are released in DLC form. Loot boxes will remain available for purchase in Andromeda's multiplayer as well.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 21 March. EA Access members will be able to play the game early - from 16 March.
