PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X owners will get the next-gen version of Marvel’s Avengers for free. They will also be able to transfer their profiles and progression from the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
Marvel’s Avengers will assemble on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when the two consoles launch during the Holiday season 2020.
Players who own the current-gen version of the game will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version at no additional cost. To pick up where they left off, the players will have to transfer their player profiles and progression.
In addition, cross-gen play will be supported so PS5 players will be able to play with their friends on PS4 and Xbox Series X players will be connected with their friends on Xbox One.
The PlayStation 5 Marvel’s Avengers experience will take advantage of the system's ultra-high-speed SSD, the PS5 DualSense advanced haptics, and immersive spatial audio. The players will also be offered an Enhanced Graphics Mode as well as a High Framerate mode.
More details about Xbox Series X, Stadia, and PC specific features will be shared with the fans at a later date.
