Zoink and EA released a new trailer for Lost in Random that pretty much got fans lost in awe as they glimpsed the story behind this dark and intriguing fable.
EA and Zoink classified their upcoming game, Lost in Random, as a gothic fairytale action-adventure which should give you an overall look what it should feel like. However, it is not without a reason that people say a picture is worth a thousand words and the latest story trailer proved as much.
As you probably figured out by multimedia content the devs and publishers put out earlier, the game is set in a dystopian fairytale universe and the story trailer offers a bit of an explanation why it's that way.
The inhabitants are forced, just once in their lives, to roll a dice that is presented by the queen. Outcomes vary depending on the dice roll and the highest one results in the inhabitant being taken to live with the queen and her cronies.
That is exactly what happens with Odd, the sister of protagonist Even, who embarks on a journey to rescue her sister. Along the way she meets a dice of her own and it's quite the character. Words can't do it justice so it's probably you take a look at the trailer yourself.
Lost in Random currently doesn't have an exact release date but is expected to arrive later in 2021.
