Lost Ark has not been available in the Netherlands and Belgium due to certain regulations, even though the game has been out in the West for months now. That changes on July 14.
Amazon have announced that their team will be at TwitchCon Amsterdam! They say that they will have a booth on the expo floor, and call on all participants to make sure to stop by, say hello to the Community team, and grab some Lost Ark merch if you’re at the convention.
They will be in the expo hall from 10 AM - 7 PM on Saturday, July 16, and 10 AM - 6 PM on Sunday, July 17.
There will even be a photo-op wall, PCs that creators can book time at to try out the upcoming Arcanist Advanced Class before it launches in the July Update, and opportunities for content creators to sign-up for the Lost Ark Creator Program.
However, this is not the most exciting news to come from this expo. Accompanying their presence at TwitchCon Amsterdam, Amazon announce that Lost Ark will be available to players in the Netherlands on Steam starting on July 14.
The game was unavailable in both the Netherlands and Belgium because of its loot boxes, which were banned in these counties due to a controversy a few years ago with Staw Wars Battlefront 2.
As it stands now, there is no news regarding a release in Belgium, but the Netherlands release shows that it's not a lost cause just yet!
