Lineage 2: Revolution now has a new PvP mode named Castle Siege, which allows up to 200 players duking it out in the same session. As the name implies the goal will be either invading oopposing players' castles or defending your own.
Castle Siege's format will consist of four clans going head to head, with one clan defending a castle and three clans attacking it. The goal of the mode is to conquer the castle for your clan by imprinting the opponent's Holy Artifact. The pre-season for this mode began on 10 May 2018 and started the Castle Siege Festival event that will offer increased rewards in the form of experience boosts for all characters.
Lineage 2: Revolution's update wasn't only about Castle Siege though, as it added other new content such as the Oren Territory, new difficulty levels for some of the existing dungeons, new Grade UR gear and a max level extension, from level 180 to level 260. Several other in-game events will also offer increased rewards, including SR gear for players who have not logged into the game for over 14 days, Feldheim's Ruins Exploration that will last until 30 May 2018 and Aymel's School event that will stay until the same date and is exlusive to the new servers.
The new servers mentioned above have been added to the America and Europe regions in order to accommodate the increasing numbers of Lineage 2: Revolution players. Other servers will be merged in order to "ensure a smoother co-op experience and more dynamic and competitive Fortress Siege and Clan content". In other words, to reduce waiting times.
Lineage 2: Revolution has launched globally less than six months ago after it enjoyed high success in South Korea. There are about 28 million registered users now, with 5 million of them being the actual active users each month, worldwide.

This pretty much makes Lineage 2: Revolution the most successful MMORPG ever.
