Riot Games have rolled out patch 9.2 for League of Legends, bringing a set of balance changes along with adding Sylas, the Unshackled to the champion roster as well as a plethora of new skins and chromas inspired by the Lunar New Year.
League of Legends' latest addition, Sylas the Unshackled, is a former Demacian prisoner that used to work for the city's version of the Spanish Inquisition but was disgruntled when they imprisoned him. Now he is just as radical and self righteous as the organisation he hates, but instead calls himself a revolutionary that will supposedly set the ordinary Demacian folk free. If the tl;dr version of his lore didn't quench your thirst, you can check the full version on the official page.
When it comes to Sylas' role, he is a mage that can steal other people's ultimates. They will scale with his ability power, while ultimates that normally scale only with attack damage will have be converted to ability power. You can see the ratios on his wiki page, along with the rest of those juicy numbers. Sylas can dash a lot, just like the last seven champions that were released before him. Right, some of them blink instead of flashing.
As for the balance changes - Aatrox, Galio and Cassiopeia got nerfed because they stuck to the meta like bugs to a Bethesda game. There are a bunch of filler changes too, which you can preview on the .
More interestingly, Yorick got buffed as his ghouls no longer deal less damage if they are far away from him. His ultimate can be controlled better now as he can leash The Maiden if he moves too far away from the lane and can release her by pressing the ultimate again. She will then continue pushing the nearest lane, but can no longer be recalled to Yorick.

The aforementioned patch notes post also contains splash arts for the upcoming Firecracker Vayne and Sejuani skins, as well as Coin Emperor Tahm Kench and the prestige version of Firecracker Vayne. Why are they called prestige skins anyway? They look like glorified chromas.
