Riot Games revealed the highly anticipated Arcane Warwick skin on Monday, adding another beautiful cosmetic in League of Legends to their collection in celebration of Arcane Season 2.
Since its release in 2021, Arcane has been among the best video game adaptations ever, finding critical and commercial success. To this day, the series retains a perfect 100% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, and its mainstream success helped bring many new players into League of Legends.
For those unfamiliar, Arcane follows the universe of Runeterra, focusing on the Piltover and Zaun cities. Its plot concerns several legendary champions, including but not limited to Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, Ekko, Caitlyn, and Heimerdinger. Alongside the first season of the show, Riot released a collection of Arcane-themed skins in League of Legends; most of them were free and well-received by the community.
Splash art and skin price
Along with Arcane Season 2, Riot is publishing another wave of themed skins. The first wave had to sidestep major spoilers for the series, but this second wave - Arcane Warwick included-drills deeper into some key narrative developments.
Suffice it to say, this take on Warwick is a very faithful re-take of his Arcane counterpart, mixing subtle changes with a fresh design that many fans argue outdoes his presentation in the show.
The Arcane Warwick skin will be sold for 1350 RP, much like other epic-tier skins. The splash art perfectly captures the menacing new look of Warwick while being very loyal to Arcane.
Release date
Arcane Warwick will then release when the second wave of Arcane-themed skins launches with Patch 14.24, slated to release on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Prepare to dive into Runeterra once more with this breathtaking addition to League of Legends!
