Konami have officially announced a free-to-play version of their football simulation PES 2020. eFootball PES 2020 LITE is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC next week.

PES 2020 fans rejoice, Konami have just announced a free to play version of the game for all platforms - PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Officially named eFootball PES 2020 LITE, the game will release sometime next week.

"What a way to kick off the Festive Football Period! We are incredibly excited to announce that eFootball PES 2020 LITE is coming! Free to download on PS4, Xbox One and Steam," Konami announced via their social media channels.

At the moment, it is unknown what exactly will the lite version include but it should bring just enough free content for all football fans. The last year iteration, PES 2019 Lite, was mainly focused on the game's new myClub mode. Unfortunately, exhibition mode was not available and it's one of the modes that we would really love to see in the upcoming eFootball PES 2020 LITE.

As expected, the lite version is packed with microtransactions and Konami will probably follow the same path with the new title. It's a free to play game after all so don't be surprised if PES 2020 Lite tries to get some of your hard-earned cash.

At the moment, details are pretty scarce but it's just a matter of time before Konami reveal the first trailer and more details about the game's features. You can follow the official PES 2020 pages on Twitter and Facebook for more information.

The full version of the game, eFootball PES 2020 released back in September 2019 on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. At the moment, the game has Metascore of 82 and User score of 8.3 on Metacritic.
