Kingdom Hearts series has officially become an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, as Sweeney and Co announced the release of four games from the franchise.
The news comes from Epic's Summer Showcase and Sale, and it should be a treat for Kingdom Hearts lovers, who will now have another platform at their disposal.
"The iconic KINGDOM HEARTS Series is coming to PC for the first time ever on March 30, 2021! Join Sora, Donald, and Goofy as well as new and familiar characters across 4 games, as they unite to battle against a dark force threatening their friends and beloved Disney worlds", Square Enix wrote.
And the four games in question are:
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX - €49.99
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue - €59.99
- Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind (DLC) - €59.99
- Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory - €59.99
Square Enix appear to have selected the Kingdom Hearts heavyweights to lead the charge on PC, but they also included the latest instalment in the franchise, the more musically oriented Melody of Memory.
Epic Games Store has announced quite the repertoire for the Spring Showcase and Sale, as they also revealed Oddworld: Soulstorm coming in the spring timeframe - and that's still the tip of the iceberg. The store will also get Chivalry 2 beta and release as an exclusive, Axiom Verge 2, Binary Smoke, Magic: Legends, and a bunch of others.
