The release schedule for January 2017 is looking good so far; AltChar is here to help you cut through the noise
2017 is here, and there is no better way to kick it off than a look at what January has to offer. Q1 has usually been a bit of a dry-spill in terms of game releases in the past. Lots of publishers have promised to change that this year, and so far the results are a mixed lot. Let's have a look at some of the highlights:
Looks a lot like some old Ace Combat game but with more mulitplayer co-op focus. (Early Access)
Platformer adventure with focus on exploration, story and characters.
2D puzzle-platformer with highly detailed background artwork and a cartoonish aesthetic.
Offensive fort and tower construction RTS warfare with some humor in the mix.
Project Siren
Long awaited sequel to a PS Vita legend.
Space Wolf themed turn based strategy. Ork smashing time.
City management with some added political and historical intricacies.
New Resident Evil, this time with VR in the mix. 'nuff said.
Open-world sniping on the Georgian side of the Russian-Georgian border.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare , PS4 (January 31st)
New maps and zombie/horror stuff for Call of Duty. Delayed PS4 exclusive.
Conan goes open-world survival with slavery and brutality aplenty. (Early Access)
