Job Listing reveals that the developer of NBA 2K, Visual Concepts, are working on an open-world racing game from a major licence.
Visual Concept studio are looking for a Produces to join their Foothill Ranch team to work on an unannounced open-world AAA racing title.
The job listing reveals that the game is based on a major licence and will be released on multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. The listing describes the project as an "exciting new open-world driving game".
Additionally, it seems that the game will have a multiplayer which is described as a "seamless online experience". The game is being built on Unreal Engine and it aims to be "fun for all ages".
With a big open world, multiplayer experience and E rating, this certainly sounds a lot like Xbox's Forza Horizon title, one of the most popular, if not the most popular arcade racer in the world.
At the moment, it is not clear when exactly Visual Concept's racing title would be released. It's entirely possible that the development is still in the early stages, which would mean that we won't be seeing the game anytime soon.
But without the official details, you should take everything with a grain of salt, since this is just a rumour at this point.
Hopefully, the developer Visual Concept studio will be sharing more details in the near future.
