Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Team Ninja revealed their brand new game at the Xbox and Bethesda showcase yesterday, confirming the day one release on Xbox Game Pass.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a brand new action game set in the Three Kingdoms era from Nioh developer Team Ninja and Nioh and Bloodborne producers. The game was officially announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase as a day-one Xbox Game Pass release for console, cloud and PC.

The release date is set for early 2023 while the confirmed platforms include PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. As expected the trailer on the Xbox showcase did not include PlayStation logos but neither did the official press release that was sent out after the announcement.

Is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on PlayStation?

Since the official announcement did not mention PlayStation consoles, some Sony fans were disappointed, thinking that Xbox managed to lock down Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty as a console exclusive.

However, that's not the case. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will also be launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Koei Tecmo confirmed.

The only difference is that the Xbox players will get to play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty via Game Pass while the PlayStation owners will have to spend $70 for the same game.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is coming sometime in early 2023.
