Humble Monthly's offering for August is now behind us and the one for September has kicked off with early unlocks. It gives players the choice to pick from Rise of the Tomb Raider or Sniper Elite 4, along with Tales of Berseria and Staxel.

Humble may have ruffled some players' feathers as they have previously stated that the same game cannot be in a monthly bundle twice, but they broke that rule with Rise of the Tomb Raider. Fans have remembered they bought a bundle containing this game, but then again, this is included only as a choice, as players can opt for the Sniper Elite 4 bundle that features Tales of Berseria and Staxel along with it.

This move may also be a form of promotion for Square Enix ahead of Shadow of the Tomb Raider's release. That said, the second entry in Tomb Raider reboot series has been critically acclaimed and very well received by fans. It boasts 92 per cent positive reviews on Steam, out of almost 30.000 reviews. It is unclear whether this unlock contains Season Pass content with it though. Probably not.

In the opposing corner, we have Sniper Elite 4 which was slightly less well received, standing at 86 per cent positive reviews on Steam. While it doesn't offer many puzzles like Lara Croft's fuzzy archaeology, it will challenge players to find the most colourful ways to kill Nazis, including the main moustache himself - Adolf Hitler.

You can check out a compilation of Hitler kills in the video above that includes killing Adolf with underwater mines, headshots, torpedoes, prop detachment and even shots to that other head. Yes, you can castrate Hitler with a sniper rifle shot in this game. Redundant, but who cares, right?

Both games have strong cases as to why one might want to pick them, but bear in mind that you don't get Tales of Berseria and Staxel if you pick Rise of the Tomb Raider, they are bundled with Sniper Elite 4. Since August has just started, the rest of the bundle is unknown, but it will be made transparent in the coming weeks.
