Ninja Theory's Hellblade 2 is one of the most anticipated Xbox exclusives but we have not seen much of it so far. The team have been working hard on the game for a couple of years now and we got some in-engine trailers as well as development update when they said that the team is moving into full production.
There is no official confirmation of when will we see the game again but according to trusted Jeff Grubb, the wait won't be that long since the plan is to showcase Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 at the upcoming The Game Awards show, which has been confirmed for December 9, 2021.
Speaking in the most recent episode of the Defining Duke Podcast, which is currently locked for Patreons, Grubb said "I Think Hellblade was kind of the plan as well [for TGA show]."
Grubb added that we'll see if this is actually still the case but if we had to guess, we would say that the game will indeed appear at The Game Awards since it was rumoured that it was scheduled for Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year but ultimately, Xbox decided to pull it from that show.
This suggests that some sort of appearance was planned much earlier but for unknown reasons, it was not at the Xbox's biggest show.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S. The game does not have a release date but it's expected in 2023.
