Halo Infinite might become playable sooner than expected for some fans as 343 Industries announced
Halo fans probably can't wait to get their hands on Halo Infinite , even though the game had to undergo additional changes following the unfortunate look Escharum had that failed to meet the expectations of the viewers, among several other things.
Anyway, changes were made and the trailer and screenshots shown later looked much better. When that happened, the only question was when the players would be able to check out Halo Infinite for themselves.
Well, that might happen as soon as the weekend of July 31-August 1, 2021. This information is coming from 343 and Microsoft themselves since the development has been going well but the date might still change since 343 didn't officially give it a go yet.
There are a few things to keep in mind. First, it will be a bot-focused technical preview so there will most likely not be any multiplayer action. Second, hundreds of thousands of Halo Insiders will gain access to the build but given the high profile of the title, that may end up being only a fraction of the people who signed up for it. That said, if all goes well with the initial batch, 343 will invite more Insiders for the next test.
Before the test happens at all, the devs will have a live stream where they will offer more details on the build and walk fans through what they can expect from it.
