All In! Games and 505 Games announced the Nintendo Switch release date for Ghostrunner, which is just around the corner so it won't be long before we're not grounded while jumping all over the cyberpunk city.
Ghostrunner is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2020. Those who preorder the game will get an additional bonus in the form of an exclusive katana while everyone on Switch will be able to get the first-party exclusive Nintendo katana, which will be available for the players from release until December 10, 2020.
Ironically, the game that's all about movement has only been available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One so far, all of them being non-portable platforms. Now, no one expects you to jump between billboards while playing on Nintendo Switch but it's kind of an interesting quirk that the only portable platform was waiting a bit longer to get Ghostrunner.
Those who are unfamiliar with the game will probably just need the basic description to get on board with what Ghostrunner is. You get to be a cyborg ninja that could put Grey Fox to shame with all the cool stunts you get to pull off. The game is set in a dystopian cyberpunk world and you keep making incredible jumps and other feats of creative movement between all the slicing of your enemies.
We really mean it when we say "slicing the enemies" since you get to make sashimi out of them up close.
That said, this isn't just a mere exercise in slashing things that are trying to halt your progress - Ghostrunner is a challenging experience that will see you die a lot but the respawn system is rather quick, which should make action set pieces even more fluid.
