You can now download Ghost Recon Breakpoint for free and play it until January 25, 2021. It's the full game and if you decide to purchase it after the promotion, your saves will carry over to the full version.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ubisoft's tactical shooter set in on the gorgeous Aurora island is free-to-play for a limited time. Just like the publisher announced last week when they revealed a new Operation, the free-to-play period will run over the course of the weekend. You can start playing the game today and until January 25, 2021. The download is available on Epic Games Store or Uplay.
Of course, this is not a trial nor a demo with limited content, you get the full game with the full story and side missions as well as some extra stuff that released in post-launch updates. If by the end of the free-to-play promotion you decide to buy the game, your saves will transfer to the full, paid version of the game.
While Ghost Recon Breakpoint was not received well by critics and players on the launch, we have to say that Ubisoft managed to fix some of the issues and Breakpoint is a totally different experience at the moment.
That's why they are probably keen to offer players a chance to try it one more time and if you always wanted to give it a go, this is probably the best opportunity - It won't cost you a dime.
In case you're not familiar with Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the game sets you on a mission to infiltrate Aurora Island, which is a cutting-edge military base for a terrorist organization, whose leader is your former teammate and the main antagonist.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and PC.
