Sucker Punch's Cinematic Creative Director Dave Molloy has revealed on his LinkedIn profile that the studio are currently working on a Ghost of Tsushima game for PlayStation 5.
Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best games of 2020 both commercially and critically. Sony confirmed that Sucker Punch's samurai action-adventure was the fastest-selling new IP from their first-party studios.
Of course, with such an amazing launch and critical acclaim, it would be surprising if Sony don't have plans for a sequel. They are yet to officially announce a brand new Ghost of Tsushima game but thanks to a small hint from a LinkedIn profile of Sucker Punch's Cinematic Creative Director , we know there's something cooking at the Washington-based studio.
Dave Molloy wrote in his LinkedIn profile description that he currently works on the Ghost of Tsushima game for Sony PlayStation 5. Since this tiny little detail has been found in his profile, Molloy removed this bit from the description, leaving only "Sony PlayStation" without the number five.
Could this mean that a brand new Ghost of Tsushima game is currently in development for PlayStation 5? Well, it's hard to say but we doubt the description is for the PS5 port, which has already been released.
Also, we know that Sucker Punch have been hiring for a new project, thanks to a new job listing on their official website , so it's safe to say that the developer are definitely up to something.
Hopefully, we'll hear more about the game in the coming months.
Thanks, GamingRoute.
