Funcom have released Treasures of Turan DLC and announced Year 2 Season Pass that will include the mentioned content as well as three other pieces of content that will be released over the course of 2019, bringing new eye candy along.
Treasures of Turan is already available for those who feel inspired by Arabian and Indian cultures with curved swords, appropriate building pieces, pets and placeables. In total, there is 39 building pieces, 15 armour pieces, 9 Turanian weapons, two new animal pack skins and 9 new placeables.
Just like before, none of the content will provide an edge over other players so Conan Exiles will remain a game that is not pay to win. The weapons will be equal to those of Iron quality and will have Epic versions for upgrading later on.
This DLC will be the first in the group of four that will come along over the course of 2019. The others will be named Riders of Hyboria, Blood and Sand, and Mysteries of Acheron. If the DLC prices up to this point, including Treasures of Turan, are anything to go by, each of them will be priced at $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99.
Therefore, the Season Pass should provide a 25 per cent saving as it costs $29.99 / €29.99 / £26.99 for the total of four DLC packs. The true price buyers would pay in this case is that they are shelling out money up front, without knowing what the new packs will offer or whether they will like it.
Fashionistas stuck in the Exiled Lands will more than likely find the shiny new weapons, armour and building pieces worth it but we still suggest waiting to see more of the Season Pass content in order to properly figure out whether you want it or not - this is an equivalent of pre-ordering DLC after all.,
Funcom did not detail exactly when the new DLC packs would pop up, but since there is a little less than eight months left in 2019 and three packs to go, it is likely there will be three months or less between each DLC release. You can read more about it on the e.
