Conan Exiles 2.5 patch notes

Conan Exiles just got a feature that's been in the works since Patch 2.4 hit the live servers. Server Transfers are now a reality and players can hop between worlds as they see fit.

Conan Exiles' new 2.5 patch is now live. A quick PSA: Mind your mods when installing a fresh update. 2.5 is a beefy patch that introduced a bunch of Quality of Life changes and bug fixes. There are some smaller animal pens, a new option for weapons and a setting that will let you control how much damage thralls do to other NPCs.

Speaking of weapons, the devs have made an extensive balance pass, which tweaked some weaponry and items. They've also reworked several weapon types, added new animations, and refreshed some old ones.

Enabled Server Transfers

Originally announced with patch 2.4, the Server Transfer feature is now enabled. While still a work in progress, Server Transfer will let the players transfer their character between official servers, as well as between private servers that opt-in to this feature.

Smaller animal pens

Sometimes you just don't have the room for a traditional animal pen but still want to tame some four-legged companions. The new smaller pens take a more humble footprint and house one animal at a time.

Display your sheathed weapon

Conan Exiles will now display your most recently used weapon neatly sheathed on the player character. This will also work for other players. Bear in mind that the feature is optional and that you can customize it in settings.

Balance changes and reworks

Expect Greataxes, Katanas and Claw Weapons to behave differently in combat. These weapons have also had some new animations tied to their code. Other weapons have also undergone a balance pass.
