Due to unforeseen interest for the Conan Exiles game, 200 official servers hosted by PingPerfect were unable to deliver the level of quality expected by Funcom
As a result of sub-optimal hosting service, the partnership between Funcom and PingPerfect was terminated, leaving 200 official servers offline. Around 7500 private servers running Conan Exiles have remained online.
Funcom is now in the process of finding another hosting company with the right hardware so the game's existing databases can be moved, but it will probably be a few days. The update on Reddit reads "In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and encourage you to play on any of the thousands of unofficial servers that are out there. Many are home to thriving and very welcoming communities. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has played and made progress on the official servers, but we think it is better to deal with this problem now rather than later."

The 25 percent Lifetime Discount on the Barbarian Edition has been removed as a result of the companies terminating their partnership. Funcom intends to honour all purchases made before the split but the discount will no longer be available. The game databases from the old servers are going to be re-implemented as soon as the new official servers become available.
Several patches have also been released, and more are on the way. The patches will tackle the rubberbanding issues, disconnects and other server related challenges.

AltChar's own thralls have shed some sweat under Conan Exiles. Telxvi had some trouble playing the game on day one, and day two, and day three. Despite being practically exiled from the servers, he still claims he isn't giving up. Check out the video above for a glimpse of the horror.
