Conan Exiles is about to go through some extreme climate change. The Frozen North expansion will be added to the base game for free on 16 August 2017, for both PC and Xbox One. The expansion will add a lot of cool new content.

The Fozen North free expansion for Conan Exiles now has an official release date. The game's world size will be expanded by roughly 70 per cent, and most of the new terrain looks like a stark contrast to the dessert terrain players may be accustomed to.

The Frozen North will be adding a new brewing mechanic. Essentialy just another crafting system by the looks of it, but the final result will allow your character to get drunk for different benefits and potential penalties. Things like beekeeping, fishing with traps and cooking will also be added to the game, because its always a bad idea to drink on an empty stomach.

Ymir, the Lord of Storm and War will be part of the more religious side of the expansion. Ymir's avatar looks a lot like a frost giant and is quite huge even by giant standards.
