Heavy metal sounds, exhaust smoke, the open road and puzzle solving! Full Throttle Remastered is out now and allows you to replay the LucasArts classic on a modern PC with a 4K paint job and a fresh set of tunes.
The original Full Throttle was released back in 1995. At the time it was praised for its quite unique setting and story, but caught some flak for its roughly 8 hour total play time. In today's day and age, that seems like a ludicrous complaint, with single player components of AAA games having a hard time hitting the 10 hour mark even with budgets in the millions, but the mid-90's were a simpler time and longer games were the norm rather than the exception.

Full Throttle is pretty much the old game but with new graphics that are a lot less pixely and marked by their age, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a freshened up soundtrack and all the things that make modern game remastering go, while aiming to present an experience as close to the original as possible without compromising its core appeal.
Players will be able to switch back and forth between the classic and remastered mode mid-game with the press of a button, and the game comes with a commentary track from the original developers.
