Starting today, episode one of Batman - The Telltale Series is available for free to all iOS users. Forever. Moreover, a free performance update also goes live today. The update will provide "significant technical improvements and should ensure the series runs smoothly on a broader range of iOS based devices" says the press release.
In the first episode of the series, Bruce finds out that his father wasn't who he thought he was. As it turns out, Wayne senior was a "ruthless crime boss" and the realisation robs Bruce of his moral high ground. Now both sides of his persona have to question everything he thought he knew about his identity.
The press release continues "As both Bruce and Batman, players must negotiate harsh political realities and prevent Gotham City from descending into chaos while digging into the truth about the Wayne family's sordid past. The decisions players make across Batman - The Telltale Series then optionally carry over into the ongoing second season, Batman: The Enemy Within ."
The game features an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, Jason Spisak as Oswald Cobblepot, Dave Fennoy as Lucius Fox, Anthony Ingruber as John Doe, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.

In other Batman news, Harley Quinn has been confirmed for episode two of The Enemy Within. The episode will launch on 26 September for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Additionally, both episodes one and two will become available on iOS and Android-based devices that same day.
