Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 closed beta date will finally be revealed on July 9, 2020, the devs confirmed in the latest blog post. The closed beta is still on track to release later this month.
Flight Simulator 2020 team have shared a new development update over at their official blog. The devs revealed a couple of new details about the upcoming Alpha 5 test and the long-awaited closed beta.
The Alpha 5 is officially kicking off on Thursday, July 9, 2020, with full build notes will be posted with the release. On the same day, the devs will also finally reveal the release date for the closed beta test, which is still on track to release later this month.
The developers say that once Alpha 5 has been released, their full focus will switch to preparations for Closed Beta release.
Also, if you signed up for Alpha, make sure to check out your email inbox since a new batch of invitations has been sent out to applicants. Those who get into the Alpha test will automatically qualify for the closed beta test too.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 final version is currently slated for 2020 release. The game will be coming to PC and Xbox One. You can also expect an Xbox Series X port at a later date thanks to Xbox Smart Delivery feature.
