Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies is set to introduce a brand new map Firebase Z very soon and today, we have a couple of screenshots which give us a first glimpse at how the map looks.
Activision and Treyarch have worked hard to deliver plenty of post-launch content updates to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and that's set to continue with the upcoming content drop, which is set to introduce a brand new Zombies map, among other things.
This new map is named Firebase Z and just as previously announced, it is coming on February 4, 2021, free for all players. "With the destruction of the WWII-era Projekt Endstation site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name Firebase Z," it's stated in the official announcement.
Today, we have first images of the new map, thanks to a recent leak, which surfaced online. You can check out the images and a bit of gameplay HERE . At the time of writing, these were online but it's entirely possible that Activision will take the content down, which is why we usually avoid adding these directly to our articles.
Anyway, the leaked images and gameplay don't really reveal much, there's some sort of a bunker or a nuclear facility as well as a couple of ruined buildings so it's safe to say this is a close-quarters map. The official reveal of Firebase Z should be coming in the next few days so make sure to follow Treyarch's official channels if you don't want to miss it.
