Evil Dead: The Game is now targeting February 2022 release window as the development team need some extra time to polish the game and implement a single-player experience.

Saber Interactive's co-op and PVP multiplayer action title Evil Dead The Game has been delayed, unfortunately. The development team need more time to create a proper and memorable Evil Dead experience so the game will not be coming in 2021, which was the previous release window.

Today, the devs officially announced that February 2022 is their new target release window.

"Evil Dead: The Game will be releasing in February 2022 Hey groovy gamers, we're targeting a new release date to give the team some extra time for polish and to ensure this is the ultimate Evil Dead experience you’re all waiting for," the devs announced via the official Twitter.

Additionally, the team will be spending the extra time on an implementation of a single-player option, that will allow players to enjoy the game without their co-op buddies. Also, they will soon share more information regarding the new character updates, pre-order available and new gameplay video featuring Bruce Campbell.

Evil Dead The Game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

In case you're not familiar with the title, Evil Dead The Game will feature characters from throughout the Evil Dead universe, including Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, and more. Check out the official gameplay trailer here for more info.
