Euro Truck Simulator 2 players have been waiting for the Road to the Black Sea DLC pack since its announcement back in March when SCS released a teaser, but now it's time for the real deal, and the trailer doesn't get real-er than this.
"Drivers will be able to expand their company and deliver to the countries of Romania, known for the forested region of Transylvania and the surrounding Carpathian Mountain range, Bulgaria with its diverse terrain and the Black Sea coastline, and the Trakya region of Turkey which is the gateway to Europe's largest city, Istanbul", the dev wrote.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 players will get large cities, villages in the countryside as well as coastlines on the Black Sea, and as you can see from the trailer - each seems more beautiful than the next. Road to the Black Sea comes with a total of 20 new major cities and a ton of smaller towns and settlements.
SCS Software reminded that these regions come with a large variety of industries, and that goes for farms, logistics, mining and steal. Overall, there will 11 new local company docks and industries.
The dev is boasting characteristic Balkan architecture to which I can personally attest to, new 3D assets, regional vegetation, authentic local public transport and even horse carts for Bulgarian and Romanian countrysides. Having personally traversed just about every bit of the road in Euro Truck Simulator 2's new DLC, it's actually scary how well they've nailed it.
Road to the Black Sea also adds border crossings with feature-rich border controls, the ferry over the Danube and the Black Sea region achievements to unlock.
Euro Truck Simulator 2's new DLC is slated for launch on 5 December 2019, so about a week more to go. Keep on truckin'! Which may land you a job in actual trucking, as you can find out from our interview with someone who did exactly that.
