Battlestate Games have posted 0.12.7 preliminary patch notes for Escape from Tarkov, as well as a trailer showing off some of the features from the update.
Escape from Tarkov's update 0.12.7 is a big one, and the preliminary patch notes are pretty lengthy, but the trailer does well to highlight the main additions. In short, it brings expansion to the Customs map, new weapons and quests, as well as a new scav boss - Sanitar.
Sanitar is a former doctor who once worked in a TerraGroup lab, but the events in Tarkov led to him forming a gang that operates on the Shoreline. Given his past, Sanitar is an expert in quick healing himself and his henchmen, and sometimes leaves first-aid kits and/or medical supplies on location.
As for the Customs expansion, which Escape from Tarkov players have been anxiously awaiting for, the dev wrote it entails "expansion of industrial area, construction site, added many new explorable buildings, stationary weapons, new location for Reshala spawn etc."
Escape from Tarkov will get two new weapons, a rocket launcher and a shotgun, and a bunch of new ammo:

Also coming with patch 0.12.7 are AI improvements, which will have bots picking up items and second firearms from bodies, react better upon seeing dead bodies, communicate better, check mags when in peaceful mode, and more.
Last but not least, Escape from Tarkov players are getting seven new stimulants:

- L1 (Noradrenaline)
- P22 (Specimen 22)
- AHF1-M Meldonin
- "Obdolbos" cocktail
- M.U.L.E
Mind you, Escape from Tarkov 0.12.7 brings much more than listed here, as it includes reworking of the skill system, various optimisations, quality of life additions and bug fixes, all of which can be found in the official preliminary patch notes .
