Some recent EA FC 25 leaks has reported that the brains behind the Career Mode might finally include an option for gamers to become an Icon and play in the game as such.
The leak originated from 'FGZNews' on X, a known leaker with several accurate leaks under his belt, such as the new Penta game mode. According to the post, he suggested that Icons will be available in Player Career Mode in EA FC 25. Players will be able to play as an Icon in Player Career mode.
This suggests that players may make a start in the Career Mode save as any Icon. This would include legendary players such as Pele, Ronaldinho, and Zinedine Zidane. Players would be able to use their predetermined ratings and stats from their Ultimate Team cards with pre-set PlayStyles, meaning you'll begin your career with world-class attributes.
Hopefully soon, developers will want to create features unique to an icon career mode. This could be done as a guided path where players can relive these legendary careers of icons, with their memorable moments, major transfers, and important honors.

This could prove to be an exciting addition for fans of the Player Career Mode, which hasn't seen much in terms of updates over the last few years. More information will likely be announced once the developers start showing and telling right after the official reveal on July 17.
Developers may create a guided path for players to relive legendary careers of icons, with memorable moments, major transfers, and important honors. Also, EA FC 25 will introduce new game mode called Penta, it will be a 5v5 mode inspired by Volta game mode from EA FC 24.
