EA will be part of the recently announced Summer Game Fest with their EA Play event. The publisher officially confirmed that an E3 replacement event will happen but in a digital-only form, which was expected since the ongoing issues with the coronavirus are yet to slow down.
EA Play will go live on 11 June 2020, 4.00 PM PST / 1:00 AM CET, which is just a couple of days later than last year's event, which started on 08 June 2020.
As for the game news and announcements, well, you can bet that EA have a lot to show off especially after the last year's lineup, which was a bit light for EA's standards.
The publisher confirmed in the announcement that players will get to see world premieres at the event along with other game news and more.
You can expect a trailer for FIFA 21, EA's annual release and perhaps some information about a new Battlefield game, which is coming in 2021.
On top of this, the event will almost certainly bring news about Apex Legends' next season and what to expect from the game in the near future.
Anthem players should also look forward to EA Play since it is a perfect place to unveil Anthem 2.0, a massive rework of the game that was announced earlier this year.
