Techland have finally revealed how Dying Light 2 gameplay compares between the last-gen and current-gen consoles.
During the last gameplay showcase of Dying Light 2, Techland revealed a 4K gameplay with ray-tracing features turned on and it's safe to say that the game looked absolutely spectacular in that footage.
However, console players who are eagerly awaiting the sequel to critically-acclaimed zombie survival horror were left wondering if they will ever get to see actual gameplay from last-gen and current-gen consoles - PS4, Xbox One and PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Luckily, Techland have finally revealed the console gameplay of Dying Light 2 in their latest and final episode of Dying 2 Know "show". You can check out the new gameplay and comparison between the consoles in the video below:
As you can see, Techland have done a pretty good job in optimising Dying Light 2 for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The game features Quality and Performance mode which run at 30 and 60 FPS, respectively.
As for the last-gen consoles, the game will run at 30 FPS with much lower resolution and visual fidelity, as expected.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be launching officially on Techland on February 4, 2022, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch (Cloud Version).
