Kojima Productions and CDPR have a surprise update for Death Stranding owners, and it's a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired update with six new missions, new items, and more.

We’re thrilled to announce an incredibly exciting DEATH STRANDING update, in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. This is crossover content you weren’t expecting, right? Let us tell you more", the two wrote.
So, six new missions await Death Stranding players, all of them filled to the brim with characters and lore from Cyberpunk 2077. The update is already available and get a load of this - there's an all-new Hacking function.
The Hacking function can be used in combat by Death Stranding's protagonist Sam Fisher. Sam can target enemy machines, as porters can briefly stop Mule sensor poles from activating, to stun Odradeks and hack Mule tracks to keep them rooted in place.
