At this rate, Obsidian will need a new set of strech goals before the week is out
Pillars of Eternity II is making money faster than you can hit F5. The game raked in all of its required funding and is now proceeding to hit one stretch goal after another.
A novelty and part of the new crowdfunding platform Obsidian is using for the project is the ability to invest into the game, if regular old backing just isn't your thing. At this point in time, the investment to pledge ratio is quite evenly distributed among the 15.000+ backers and investors.

inXile's Wasteland 3 was recently funded in a similar fashion but the investor to backer ratio for the fundraiser was close to 3:1. Deadfire still has almost a month to go on its Fig , so things might change further towards a 3:1 ratio, considering that the fan-bases for both games most likely overlap a great deal.
