THQ Nordic have accidentally confirmed that Darksiders Warmastered Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch. The publisher uploaded the announcement trailer on their website but it was swiftly removed and replaced with a humorous GIF.

After many rumours and teases, it looks like Darksiders Warmastered Edition is on its way to Nintendo Switch. The latest info all but confirming this is comes from publisher THQ Nordic's website where an announcement trailer for the Switch port of Darksiders has been uploaded.

Even though the publisher swiftly deleted the trailer, they weren't swift enough. Folks from the Nintendo Everything website spotted the video before it went down and uploaded it to their own YouTube channel and the trailer is still there at the moment.

Info about the release is still pretty scarce. While the trailer shows a Nintendo Switch logo at the very end, there is no mention of a potential release date. The trailer also showed Nintendo E-Shop logo which could suggest that the game is only coming in digital form.

What's interesting in the whole story is that THQ Nordic responded to players questions. Once the publisher removed the trailer from their media server, they posted a humorous GIF on the same link asking players to "disperse" which is followed with a "nothing to see here" message.

The big question here is when THQ Nordic plan to officially reveal the trailer and announce a release date. It's possible that may happen during a future Nintendo Direct broadcast. With the trailer all done and ready, it shouldn't take long before we get publisher confirmation.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition is the original Darksiders game with an HD makeover. It was released back in 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while a Nintendo Wii version dropped in 2017. It was praised by critics and fans for great visuals and overall technical improvements.

Unfortunately it recorded very poor sales on Nintendo's console so hopefully Switch users will be more interested in War's adventure.
