CD Projekt Red will start releasing free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 in early 2021, the developer confirmed via their website. Players can expect to hear more about the post-launch content very soon.
After a rocky start, CD Projekt Red are committed to fix everything that is wrong with their blockbuster Cyberpunk 2077. The developer reassured fans that the majority of annoying bugs will be squared by late February 2021, which is certainly good news since at the time of writing, the game still has many issues on all platforms, especially last-gen consoles - PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
If you follow Cyberpunk 2077 news closely, you probably know that CD Projekt Red also promised to talk more about free post-launch content that will be coming to Cyberpunk 2077, similarly to how the devs released content for their previous AAA title - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Over on the official website of Cyberpunk 2077 , it is now stated that free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming sometime in early 2021. The message on the website simply states: "Free DLC starts hitting Night City early 2021. Stay tuned for more info."
It seems that the studio will start talking about post-launch content very soon but unfortunately, the exact dates are yet to be revealed so stay tuned to official Cyberpunk 2077 channels for that.
As for the actual content and what the devs might add in this first batch, well, don't expect too much since this will be free DLC but if the plan is similar to how The Witcher 3's DLC was rolled out, then a brand new quest, a piece of armour or a weapon could be a safe bet.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia.
