Cyberpunk 2077 long term romances will be similar to The Witcher 3 relationships it's been confirmed by the game's lead quest designer Pawel Sasko. He also said that players will now have more options when choosing their NPC partners.
CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has been a major talking point all over the internet since its appearance on E3 2019, where the game got the official release date and new behind closed doors gameplay.
The hype has never been bigger and it seems that each day we get new details about the game's mechanics, open world and story. Today is no different as new info on Cyberpunk 2077 romance options have emerged.
The game's lead quest designer Pawel Sasko answered a question regarding the romantic relationships in Cyberpunk 2077 and apparently, they will be a lot like those in CD Projekt Red's last major game - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
"So in terms of romances - you can think that it's going to be similar to how Witcher 3 was - there were whole plotlines regarding the character and if the NPCs were treated well and interested in Geralt, something was happening," Sasko explained with a little wink at the very end.
He added that in Cyberpunk 2077, players will have a lot more options regarding romantic relationships with NPCs, which was not the case in The Witcher 3 as Geralt was a defined character that was only interested in females.
"Here you can define what type of interactions your character prefers and have a relationship with that NPC / NPCs," Sasko concluded.
If you played The Witcher 3, you'll probably remember that your romance choices have several effects on the story and Geralt's life after the battle against the Wild Hunt ends.
If Cyberpunk 2077's romantic relationships will indeed be similar to The Witcher 3, then our advice would be to stick to one NPC if you don't want to end up embarrassed and without your lad/lass.
