Cyberpunk 2077 - GOG.COM edition - will be playable on nearly any device thanks to CD Projekt Red's collaboration with GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service.
CD Projekt Red just announced some happy news for everyone who owns a PC that's not up to scratch with Cyberpunk 2077's system requirements . The dev company made a deal with GOG and now they are cooperating with GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service. This means that gamers will be able to launch the GOG.COM version of Cyberpunk 2077 through GeForce NOW from day one - December 10.
Anyone who has purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via GOG.COM will be able to play it via the cloud gaming service, exploring the streets of Night City on nearly any device including low-powered or incompatible Windows and Mac laptops, Chromebooks and more.
In addition, GeForce NOW Founders members will get to experience the game with RTX ON, delivering beautifully ray-traced graphics from Night City. The drawback - there will be some lag as Cyberpunk 2077 will essentially be streamed from a more powerful rig onto your platform of choice.
Supporting the creators: If you decide to purchase your copy of Cyberpunk 2077 via GOG.COM , 100 per cent of your money will go directly to CD PROJEKT Group.
It was also announced that launching the GOG.COM version of Cyberpunk 2077 via GeForce NOW is just the first step and that we can expect more news coming from the developers soon.
The GeForce NOW version of Cyberpunk 2077 will initially only be available in English, with additional language support coming shortly after.
