The studio behind Crysis are looking for new employees, and one of the ads is particularly interesting because it mentions an “unannounced AAA game” for which they are looking for a Game Designer with a great passion for games to work in their studio in Frankfurt.
Last year, Crytek released Hunt: The Showdown and Crysis Remastered (check out our review), and it could be said with great certainty that they would immediately turn to new projects. We have already written about Crysis Next - battle royale game, but for now, there are no indications that these two projects are connected.
Whether this is a new Crysis game or a whole new IP, we don't know. There is little information to work with, but there will certainly be more in the near future, so we will know what Crytek is preparing for us. Now that new generations of consoles have released, we are ready for another benchmark game.
FPS and sandbox is their speciality, where they laid the foundations with their hit game Crysis, back in 2007.
