Vicarious Activisions must be delighted at the success Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is having, as the game fought off competition from Lego The Incredibles and Amazon Prime Day Xbox One discounts to win for he fourth week running.
Just like 's chart though, Crash remained rooted to the first spot, although the fact that 2,000 units separate the leader and the sixth placed really says enough. It's been a tough week for sure, although Crash wasn't the only standout performer.
On the wings of the recently launched movie, Lego The Incredibles did pretty well all things considered, actually climbing up one spot compared to last week. Interestingly, its sales have dropped only 7 per cent on-week, which is actually quite an impressive result.
This is where we're entering Amazon Prime Day waters, with three of Microsoft's bundles of choice helping their gift games into the chart. Sitting in third is Rare's swashbuckling adventure Sea of Thieves, while Minecraft: Xbox Edition follows in fourth.
Sitting in fifth is the week's only new entry in the top 10, , a game whose physical release was actually asked for, both by fans and Sega's staff. The physical release comes with an art book and reversible Genesis sleeve too, a real treat for Sonic lovers.
Forza Horizon 3 comes in sixth, which completes the list of last week's Microsoft and Amazon Prime Day bundles. God of War held up pretty well against Xbox One's discount onslaught, which is nothing if not symbolic.
The Crew 2 is back in business, coming back among the top 10 at eight place, while the ever-lingering FIFA 18 obviously doesn't care that the World Cup has ended. In Russia perhaps, right? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's place remains unchanged from last week, with Nintendo's plumber coming in tenth.
The remainder of the list is as follows:
- Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy
- LEGO The Incredibles
- Sea of Thieves
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- Sonic Mania Plus
- Forza Horizon 3
- God of War
- The Crew 2
- FIFA 18
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
