After eight years in the oven and four million daily active users on the web version, Cookie Clicker is finally available on Steam. Now with music by C418.

Playsaurus just announced that the classic idle game about making cookies - Cookie Clicker - is out today and can become a part of your Steam library in exchange for 4.99 USD / EUR and a promise you'll use that gym membership more often. Originally released back in 2013, Cookie Clicker received regular feedback-based improvements from French developer Orteil.

An absurd amount of cookies. Players can enlist help from fellow baked goods enthusiasts including friendly Grandmas, Farms, Factories, and otherworldly Portals.

Cookie Clicker remaster for Steam comes with a sweet soundtrack by Minecraft composer C418, cloud saving and achievements support - all baked in. A full list of features looks like this:
