With many Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players enquiring as to the possibility of migrating gold, diamond and dark matter camos from Multiplayer into Blackout and Zombies, Treyarch decided to make it a feature of the two modes.
"There is a reason these specific types of weapon progression camo are not shared across modes: they are designed to represent that players have completed a mode-specific challenge progression", the company wrote. The system is still in development but Zombies and Blackout lovers should be getting mastery camos "in late January" 2019.
As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's undead-flavoured mode Zombies, Treyarch claim to have a schedule chock-full of new content, starting with next week's addition of Gauntlets in Voyage of Despair. Three new elixirs are on the way as well as balancing changes to existing ones, although Treyarch will reveal more in a special Zombies announcement next week.
Next week will also see Treyarch launch Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's 1.11 update, which among other features brings a new and improved interface for looting in Blackout on consoles. "This includes an easier-to-navigate interface that allows console players to quickly scroll through a multi-row grid, loot the items they want, and get back into the fight even faster", Treyarch wrote.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's League Play will be starting by the end of January 2019 as well, with Treyarch aiming to emulate a more pro-oriented system that relies on "intense and frequent but shorter duration" events. These will be interspersed with scrims using CWL rules that will allow players to do some training in advance.

Treyarch also added Endurance Chaos Moshpit as a featured playlist in multiplayer and some stability improvements, most notably with Torque's Barricade, Mantis Scorestreak and killing Strike Team members rappeling out of choppers.
