Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Three has kicked in, bringing along new maps and a returning game mode - Drop Zone. Warzone is also getting a new game mode where weapons are restricted to certain classes.

Moshpit is a new playlist where Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players will queue up for three different maps. These are Talsik Backlot, Aniyah Incursion and Hovec Sawmill and they will feature a mix of objective and deathmatch games.

Those looking for something different can join Drop Zone, the returning mode from previous titles. Players will battle to hold objectives and earn points by being inside the drop zone. The winner is decided when a team reaches the required number of points or by looking at the highest number of points when the timer runs out. Keep in mind that Killstreak bonuses can only be earned while inside the zone.

To top it off, players will be earning twice the Weapon XP as well as the regular experience in the upcoming weekend. The event starts on 17 April 2020 at 10:00 AM PDT / 5:00 PM GMT and wraps up on 20 April 2020 at the same hour. Bonus experience will be applied in Warzone as well.

Speaking of, Warzone players will get to continue with Quads for Battle Royale and Plunder while a new mode will be added on top of that. It is named Scopes and Scatter Guns and will be available for Trios.
