In the latest community update over at Call of Duty: Mobile subreddit, Activision have detailed their plans for several new events and content updates. One of the biggest additions will be a brand new map named Cage, which is specifically created for Call of Duty: Mobile, unlike all previous maps that were added to the game. Unfortunately, Activision did not reveal the release date so we will have to wait a bit longer for that.
The map, which you can see in the image above reminds us a lot of Vertigo from CS:GO and Activision will almost certainly hope that Cage becomes as popular as the iconic CS:GO map.
On top of the new map, Call of Duty: Mobile will host several new special, limited-time events. Here is the breakdown of everything that is coming or currently available in Call of Duty Mobile:
- 20 January - 9 February 2020 - Lunar Festival Events
- 27 January - 2 February - Sticks & Stones Mode
- 31 January - 6 February - Prop Hunt mode
- 31 January - 13 February - XS1 Goliath Scorestreak challenge
- 2 February - 9 February - BR Sniper Challenge mode
Each of these special events also brings special rewards such as new weapons, operator skins and other event-themed items. Lunar New Year event for example, comes with Seraph's Freak Show operator skin and a brand new weapon - the assault rifle HBRa3 Dragon Dance. Check them out below.
