Battlefield 2042's turbulent development process may be on the verge of bearing some fruit. After multiple leaks and delays: EA first delayed the whole game just to also push back their open beta schedule, but now Tom Henderson and Bilibili (a Chinese video-sharing website based in Shanghai) may have some happy news for the fans.
Tom Henderson recently tweeted out that the Battlefield beta announcement, along with a fresh trailer, is mere days away, more specifically, he said that the announcement will happen on Wednesday. Henderson didn't give an exact time but did speculate about the Bilibili leak and whether or not it will force EA hand to share the trailer as soon as tomorrow, September 28.
A Twitter user who goes by User_IDave was kind enough to share their screenshot of the Bilibili leak along with a translation that reads:
"At 15:00 on October 6th, Battlefield 2042B test started! Come and watch~ From October 6th to 9th, you can get a bonus of 10,000 yuan when you start broadcasting! Wait for you to get it"
