Creative Assembly's action game - Alien: Isolation is now free to claim on Epic Games Store. The game's add-on content is enjoying a 75 per cent off sale.

Epic Games Store's Twitter account recently shared the news that Alien: Isolation is free to claim and keep until December 22 at 4:00 p.m. GMT. Even though there is plenty of time to get the survival horror title from 2014, the eager players have managed to crash the Epic Games Store. The site is now back up and working as intended.

Alien: Isolation is the latest in an avalanche of free games Epic Games Store is set on sending our way this holiday season.

Alien: Isolation follows the story of Ellen Ripley's daughter - Amanda. After her mother fails to fulfil the promise that she'd come back home to celebrate her 11th birthday with her, Amanda eventually finds her own way onto the Sevastopol space station.

The now 26-year-old Amanda is looking for answers and clues to solving the mystery of her mother's disappearance by exploring the labyrinthine station. This sends her, and the player, on a quest filled with unknown dangers.

As a bonus, the game's available add-ons have been placed on sale . All add-ons are now 75 per cent off. This includes:
