The next title update for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla is here, and with many bug fixes and overall improvements to the game, the DualSense controller's features have been supported, although it's not documented in the patch notes.
The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.1.0 update brings a plethora of balancing tweaks, performance and stability coding wizardry, and much, much more.
Patch size varies from platform to platform, as seen in the list below:
- Xbox Series X|S: ~6.3 GB
- Xbox One: ~5.7 GB
- PlayStation®5: ~2.46 GB
- PlayStation®4: ~2.4 GB
- PC: ~5.6 GB
The patch adds in-game support for the Settlement expansion and Yule Festival:
- The Yule Festival is a time-limited event with several festivities to enjoy and rewards to obtain. To bring this and future festivals to life, you'll see the arrival of the revellers just east of the current settlement.
Legendary animal trophies will now correctly appear in the Longhouse, world bosses will match the player's power level when the power exceeds the world bosses’ base level. (also applies to Alpha animals, and Zealots).
The update improves stability and performance and addresses some freezes when performing specific actions for the first time, and issues that could cause freezes during Splash Screen - both on PC.
The update 1.1.0 for Valhalla addresses many graphical issues experienced in the versions before, and fixes many bugs players may have encountered in Quests, World Events, Side Activities, etc.
One undocumented feature of this title update is the implementation of support for PS5's DualSense features, such as adaptive triggers (when firing a bow), haptic feedback, and so on.
The Title Update 1.1.0 is live on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, Stadia, and Amazon Luna as of today: December 15, 2020.
