Treyarch would prefer to expand the existing Blackout map rather than add new ones according to Treyarch studio director David Vonderhaar. He said that this could change in the future but new maps aren't in the studio's plans at the moment.

Former Square Enix game director Hajime Tabata has announced the launch of his own company named JP Games Inc. Tabata and his team are currently preparing for January 2019 start but they're yet to share any details on possible projects.

The release date for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has finally been revealed on MechCon 2018 by the developer Piranha Games. The game is set to release on 10 September 2019 for PC with four-player co-operative multiplayer and full mod support.

During the Tekken World Championship, Bandai Namco have revealed four new characters for Season 2. Armor King and Craig Marduk will be available on 3 December 2018 while Julia Chang and The Walking Dead's Negan are set to follow later.

Bioware General Manager Casey Hudson has teased a Dragon Age announcement which could come in December. In a blog post on Bioware's official website, Hudson said that the development team have been working on some secret Dragon Age stuff.

Players have discovered a glitch in Red Dead Online which allows them to make an infinite amount of money. This can be achieved in two ways and both methods are yet to be addressed by Rockstar as Red Dead Online goes live for all players.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a mobile spin-off of the Elder Scrolls series has been delayed to early 2019 was confirmed on the game's official Twitter profile. Bethesda originally announced late 2018 as the release date for their new RPG.

EA have revealed the closed alpha dates for the upcoming MMO shooter Anthem. The testing will run for only two days and it starts on 08 December 2018. Registrations are now open on EA Community Playtesting site until 03 December 2018.

The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has said that more than 10 games will be revealed during the show. Geoff didn't give any additional information about the games but one of them will be Alien: Blackout which was leaked earlier this week.

Superman: World's Finest listing has appeared on Game System Requirements website which is another leak for Rocksteady Studios' unannounced project. The listing confirms earlier promo material leak which hit the web before E3 2018.

Ubisoft will lock R6 ranked play for players who did not activate two-step verification. The decision comes as part of Ubisoft's anti-cheat plans that have been announced earlier this year. 2SV will be mandatory only for PC players.

THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors has defended Darksiders 3 after the game received mixed reviews which criticised its technical issues and gameplay changes. Wingefors said he's proud of his team and thinks they made an excellent game.
