Square Enix officially revealed the Game of the YoRHa Edition of the critically acclaimed action RPG Nier: Automata. The game will re-release on 23 February 2019 in Japan and release for North America and Europe will come at later date.

Ubisoft released 25-minute gameplay video of the upcoming action-adventure Beyond Good and Evil 2. The demo was a repeat of the video shown behind closed doors at E3 and it reveals the city of Ganesha, special abilities and augment system.

A Twitch user called smokethrone has lost his whole library of games on Origin after breaking the Anthem closed alpha NDA. Streamer wanted to show some Anthem closed alpha action to his followers but faced serious consequences instead.

John Romero has announced his new game which is a free 1993's Doom modification and it's called Sigil. The game will also release as in boxed collector's edition version. The game will feature nine single-player and nine deathmatch levels.

Bioware and EA have announced closed and open beta dates for the upcoming MMO shooter Anthem. The closed beta demo will start on 25 January 2019 for Origin subscribers, while the free for all demo is scheduled for 01 February 2019.

CD Projekt Red and Capcom officially confirmed The Witcher 3 and Monster Hunter World crossover is set to release as a free update in 2019. The White Wolf will be a fully playable character, with his unique fighting style and signs spells.

The team behind Ark: Survival Evolved unveiled their new project named Atlas. It's a pirate-themed open-world survival MMO and it will release through Steam's Early Access next Thursday, 13 December 2018 and on Xbox Game Preview in 2019.

The team behind critically acclaimed adventure Abzu have revealed their new project dubbed The Pathless. It's a mythic adventure rooted in Giant Squid's artistic and atmospheric style that follows an archer named Hunter to a cursed island.

Sony's heavy hitter God of War took the ultimate award but Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 snagged a couple of shiny trophies as well. Of course, Epic's battle royale wonder Fortnite was among the winners along with indie title Celeste.

Midwinter Entertainment have officially revealed their co-op survival game dubbed Scavengers. According to the developer, players will be thrown into a harsh and frozen world, with everything from weather to raiders trying to get them.

Vikendi is the name of new snow-themed PUBG map that has been officially revealed on The Games Awards. The map is live on the test servers and will launch on 19 December 2018 for PC and in January 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Rockstar have released the first update for Red Dead Online open beta and the list of changes includes increased gold and money rewards and reduced weapon prices. Another batch of fixes for some persistent issues will follow next week.
